A Note From Len

I've worked with thousands of business owners throughout my marketing career,
and one lesson has become increasingly clear:

The first job of a good marketing consultant isn't talking... It's listening.

Before recommending anything, I want to understand your business. Where have you been?
Where are you trying to go? What has worked? What hasn't? What keeps you awake at night...
and what would success look like a year from now?

Only then does it make sense to start talking about websites, SEO, AEO, Google, streaming television, social media, content marketing or artificial intelligence...

I've never believed in selling a client whichever advertising product happens to be fashionable
at the moment. I've spent too many years watching technologies come and go for that.

I believe in developing a logical strategy using the tools that make sense for your particular business.
When someone places their trust in Rogue Valley Marketing, I take that personally.
My objective isn't simply to complete a project. It's to develop a relationship in which
our clients come to view us as a long-term marketing partner.

"If our clients succeed, we succeed."

For me, that isn't a slogan. It's a governing principle.

"What Long-Term Partnership Looks Like"

Several years ago, one of our new plumbing clients was facing a serious problem.

He operated approximately fifteen completely equipped service vehicles...

but nearly half were regularly sitting idle in the parking lot.

We began working together on an integrated marketing strategy that included print advertising,

a completely redesigned website and a stronger digital and social media presence.

The results didn't happen overnight.

It took a few months for the new digital presence to gain traction and search visibility.

But as it did, the company's situation began to suddenly change dramatically.

Within approximately a year, the business had established a commanding presence in its local market.

Years later, we sat down again with the owner and his son for an annual marketing discussion.

This time, the problem was completely different.

They weren't asking how to generate more business.

They were asking for advice about how to scale the company fast enough to handle

the new demand they were now receiving. Finding and training qualified plumbing

service technicians had become more difficult than finding new customers.

For us, that gratifying conversation represented something much larger

than simply developing and implementing a successful marketing campaign.

That relationship had evolved from helping a client find more customers...

to helping a trusted business partner think about the challenges created by growth.

That's the kind of relationship Rogue Valley Marketing strives to build.
